The gym is typically clean, and the staff is quite helpful for the most part. Machines are always working and compared to all other planet fitness this gym is quite spacious.
Decent for anyone looking to start off their training. Low rates, low weights, and a bunch of machines. This is not for the advanced.
Great deal, but the lack of proper free weights was a big turn off for me, personally.
It really depends what you are looking for. If you are not very picky about your workouts, and you are okay with using a bunch of machines, this place is perfect. They have more machines than you can shake a stick at.
A casually comfortable place with a HUGE number of workout devices and friendly, helpful attendants...at least as of mid-November, 2017. With the casual atmosphere, size, and purple with yellow color scheme, Planet Fitness of Linden feels like a cross between a well-lit shopping mall and a children's playground. The equipment is abundant and the price can't be beat ($10. per month currently). It's a very low stress workout environment I actually ENJOY going to.
I love this location. It's never too crowded and has great customer service! Machines are always clean, not big on free weights but that's with all Planet locations
Their black card is a great deal, as you can bring a guest any time for free. This also gives you access to free tanning, hydro massage, etc.
But if you are looking for free weights, or if you are a more advanced gym-goer, this might not be the right place for you. They don't have any barbells that allow you to switch weights. (and the barbells they do have are not standard size/width.) The heaviest dumbbell they have is 75-lb.
Again, for most people that are just looking for general fitness and to sweat it out, this is fine.
